Song of the Sea

After walking for a while at the flower show, we finally make it down to the beach station. This is where the new "Musical Fountain" is, they call it "Song of the Sea" now. Saw there was a 7.40pm, 8.40pm show when we are buying tickets for Sentosa Express....FULL HOUSE.

Looking at the crowd I can understand...so many Tour groups going for the show

So we decide to "Tan Xiao Pen Xi", watch it from the outside....not a good view though

After our failed attempt to watch the show from the outside...we decide to just walk around the beach...Siloso Beach...We walk toward the right....from the map --->

Jungle Trail to Images of Singapore....look eerie...who would want to walk in now..haha

The most southern Tip of the penisular, nearest to the equator.....the island infront...too dark to see..(Kinda "play Cheat" here lo, the island is man-made...)

After walking for a while, we decide to go home, walk pass this counter that show, there is an addition 9.40pm show due to the holidays, so..XQ and I decided to purchase the tickets, $6 per person

Took a break to rest....brought some beverages from Coffeebean...but was really fustrated by those stupid "indian"....they are like never drink water before...keep "emptying" the free water in the shop...hiaz.....

By the time...we are to queue for the 9.40pm show...the crowd is even more than expected...

The show started with some familiar local songs..."Chan Mali Chan", "Vun Nei Ru Vali", and a chinse folk song...forgotten what the name though.

Then this mysterious ladies ...some kind of Goddess..appear ....want to be save?

3D "hologram" of a "nemo" like fish appear...seem to be friends of the humans

Fireworks really nice...but lousy camera...cannot capture things fast enough...

Overall, this was an enjoyable night...and the cooling weather does helps(3.5 out of 5)
I lost my Sentosa express tickets....so I took a bus home instead..They don check on the way out...of Sentosa..for Bus

Just 1 comment though...Sentosa....is so cramp...plus so many people entering the island..is not helping...hopefully...the authorities.will do something about the roads...and traffics...and the trains...else with Resort world coming up in 2 years time....how will the traffic be like....haha

Have it been >10 yrs since i step foot here

The place is Sentosa...been like more than 10 years since i visited this place. Faint memory of the "man-made" beaches and the long gone, "Fantasy island". They kinda of closed it down after someone...have a "mishap" there..and also probably due to cost...and low attendance...

Anyway....This is still CNY Day 3, after Dinner, walk around vivocity, the top floor where all the "pools" are. Was deciding to go or not to go to Sentosa to see the Flower show...In the End...we decided to go..

Was wondering what this sign is really for with most people ignoring it completely. Even the little girl find it "funny"

Access from Vivocity is via Sentosa Express....Light-rail transit

Can't believe the crowd here at the Sentosa Express Train station. There is even a few attendant controlling "Traffic" It is Super-crowded and those attendants are not very friendly and efficient...they don even know how much people to allow in to wait for the trains....

Sentosa management...please do something about it....can't they just increase the frequecy of the train arriving...

09-02-2008 -店小二, Vivocity

Went out with XQ today...to vivocity, GV Max to catch...周杰伦's《功夫灌篮》

Was quite satisfy with the show...lot of CG and a very nice and hot soundtrack...especially that "tofu" song

After which... we have dinner at this nice place call 店小二.

Very nice atmosphere here...can really see the sentosa view from inside the resturant. I sure this will be the view to be at when the Resort world open in Sentosa in 2010...too bad camera no good...cannot really capture the "real" stuff

We tried their famous...Herbal Roast Duck...not too bad...but very "fatty"

We have a slightly healthy option...小二 "Tofu"..though not by much...haha

Overall I like the duck most...the "tofu" is ok, they put too much vinegar into the pork.

A friend who have been in contact for over 10 year lo...hope he won't mind i put him "here"

Paid some $20 dollars for this meal, but it's ok...it the company that count...haha
But it still early..we later went over the Sentosa....whose idea by mine....haha...
