Is this the Match of the Season...Chelsea 2, Man-Utd 1

Got a chance to catch the match "Live" on StarHub's HD Channel.

Exciting match...I must say...though I seldom watch it anyway....Chelsea score first in the dieing minutes of the first half by a pass from Joe Cole to "dog"aka Drogba....kinda caught Man-Utd there though.

The 2nd Half Saw Man-Utd coming all out to force a draw...and they manage to do it...with Roney...(kinda "taking Advantage" though) ...they was some confusion leading to the blue passing to the wrong person thinking it a "filed"

I must say...Man-Utd was the stronger team during the 2nd half....they send in their "secret" weapon...."CR", aka No 7, but he wasn't very effective though.

My friend "Alvin" told me...the game end in Chelsea favour when this guy, Vidic was injured.....see how this happens here...


The Ball....come...and it a header for Vidic....dog also try to "kick" the ball as well....but u see...Vidic's head is very near dog's leg...

"BANG" dog hit Vidic's jaw...he headed the ball for sure..but dog give him a kick in the head instead...this must be really painfully

Falling to the ground....with dog "acting" to be painfully as well....Vidic was later seen with mouth full of blood and kinda blur as he cannot figure out his sense of direction.


During the 80+ minutes....a penalty was given...think it was handball or some filed....not too sure..though...but the blue are really happy with the Red...of course complaining to the referee about the decision.


It 2-1 to the Blues..advantage, after Michael Ballack superb kick....catching the goal keeper in the wrong direction....FYI, from the picture above...the ball goes this way--->

After this Win...this is how the EPL table looks...Man-Utd must win all their remaining 2 matches...in order to be champions....(which should be easy as they face the bottom teams)..same for the blues as well...any slip up either side ....will give either side the advantage...

Well...from this static tis...Chelsea did make a better performance....to note that Man-utd actually was caught off-side 6x....mainly by Roney and Giggs...though


Man of the Match I suppose is this guy...Michael Ballack....Germany's Captain...

Super sick :-(

Been really sick this week....down with Fever....cough...running nose....

Started off with just a "itchy" Throat....on Tues...but quickly developed into a cold....and cough on Wednesday.

See Doctor on Tuesday night to make sure this does not developed worst...but the doctor seem to forgot to give me "Panadol" as I was already spotting a little feverish...on Tues..37.5C.

I still make it to work on Wednesday, as I need to be there for the Asset Audit...which I am the Leader...endure it all though...

But by Thurday, things got worst...and i have to see the company doctor as really feeling very cold @ work. I am surprise...I am spotting a temperature of 38.8C. Another suprise come when the doctor give me 2 day MC....meaning I got the whole weekend off though.


Looking at the medication I have....u know how sick I must really ...be...almost bedridden....never been so sick before....(or so i remember)


I actually got 2 bottles of cough mixture....I going with the "red" one as it is more effective...but make me...sleepppy....though

Was really wondering what could have cause me to fall ill so badly....been taking regular my meals....even taking supplements...and goes to gym regularly....drink lot of water and eat lot of fruits...but still fall sick...

Think the Root cause.....been sleeping really late...recently...and getting less than 7hrs sleep daily even during weekend....

Think....need to put more effort in sleeping early...Target...before 12am...best...before 11.30pm...

Is this Kingdom Forbidden....It's Sure isn't

I went to see this "Chinese" movie over the weekend(Sat) @ Cathay AMK. Wasn't expecting much from this show...as I usually have low opinion of mandarin show....but I was SURPRISE.

Never seen so much..."kungfu" in a kungfu fighting show...usually such show...more talk then action but this show was different....first of all....u get to see Jackie Chan and Jet Li, fighting...and I Must say, that worth the price of the tickets... This was way better than CJ7

Some spoiler...so if you are planning to watch the show....don read on...:-)

So we have this Amercian kid....amazed with Chinese Kungfu...(seem like timeline for this show is in the early 2000, spotted a Sega Dreamcast...)

Meet with Oldie Jackie Chan....found this precious "Metal Stick"....and jackie story of how he waited for this to be return to the rightful owner....you know who...Monkey God...


some fighting....and he fell ....and landed in ancient day, china...aka..Middle Kingdom.....some intro on jade emperor and empress and the peach garden.... and he meet ...drunken master....Jackie Chan

they later met-up with a lady ...call Golden sparrow...she is HOT...


someway along the way...Jet Li steal the "stick" and went to hide in a Temple....and here is where we get to see...Jackie Chan and Jet Li ...fight....Fantastic....


The rest of the show....show how this amercian kid learn kungfu....(to be honest he pretty bad at it) and how the 2 master....are at loggerhead with one another....

You see...the monkey God is trap and turn into stone by this Jade Warlord and need his weapon back in order to return to his original self...

The finale is of course the battle the Jade Warlord...play by an actor call "colin", he sure have the bad guy look...

Jet Li was no match for this Warlord....but not until...Jackie appeared and drink the elixir of life..


You see..Jackie was injured by this "White Hair Demon girl" ...read it in chinese..


and need this potion...else he will dies...


Turn out..Jet Li was make from the monkey God...hair...


A good ending to the show...the kid return back to his time...and have learn to protect himself more....
My Recommendation is ...Go see the show....Its GREAT

Hot Dinner...indeed(4.4.08

Was introduced to this very authentic Indian restaurant along little india....(Near MRT)...during "isreal" birthday celebration....wow....was the food really "hot"

The name .... Anjappar...along little India MRT Station...there are quite a few such similar resturant here...

Looking at the food we finish....the food here is great...even for me...a person who don take "Hot" stuff....(yeah for those of you who do not know....I sweat like "mad" after a tiny of such stuff)...

Most of my cell mates have been to this place....and to be honest..they all kinda avoided...seating with "isreal" cos he is the super "hot" king....meaning...those seating around him must be able to take the super hot stuff....(Which I kinda..."fail"....so "lugi" as I eat only a little)

but....still enjoy the dinner....meeting up with new friends....which to be honest..never really come across...except hearing their names....:-)

We went for ice-cream...a cosy corner...though I must say....atmosphere..is GREAT...but the ice-cream is not....

We actually wanted to move the chair around so that all of us for seat...which include this "cups of candle" which the owner..say nope...as this is their "Feng Shui" stuff....:-)

I want to get this....:-)

Been wanting to upgrade to a DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) Camera for a long time...(to be exact...since Dec 2007)

The only Choice....CANON.

Was deciding between Canon EOS 400D, a 10Mp Camera entry level DSLR costing about $1200 or

The much Expensive and higher performance EOS 40D , also a 10Mp Camera, costing around $2200 (heard lens not included for this prices....quite exp)

Until Canon Announces the Canon EOS 450D, a 12.2Mp Live-view enabled camera

Looking @ the specs...I know this is the one I am looking for, though the difference from it predecessor EOS 400D is not by much..

• A higher Pixel count with 14bits A/D converter...smoother images..??..I hope so...
  
• Live-view (as found in 40D)...wonder...does it help in photography...since it was say to be slow
  
• SD HC/SD card support (400D & 40D support only CF), finally....as I got lot of these card around...so no need to buy....
  
• Spot metering (donno what this is for though)...is it the one that make your object of focus very clear while the background turn blur...interesting...??
• Self-timer multi shot...fun fun...feature though....capture those...."natural" moments
  
• A larger 3" LCD Screen....the bigger the better, but does this mean..lousy battery life??
  
• DIGIC III....this processor is say to be better than DIGIC II....faster..i suppose
  
• Better 9pt AF system (does it helps)...meaning more accurate focus?? better be
  
• Higher Capacity Battery...(it's about time...Canon have really bad battery life, plus having a larger LCD(3") does not helps)
  
• Battery grip Available...doubt i will get this...don wish my camera to be so big with this attachment
  
• New Menu configuration options....another fun option...you can configure how your menu look like...
  
• ISO information in the viewfinder (is it off any use...could be convenient)
• High noise reduction option (From the 40D)...Great...don need to re-adjust my photos...though still need to touch up on the spot on my face..haha...:-)

Cost is another concern. 40D cost over $2000 is way to expensive and it is huge...400D is around 1200 now, but lack live-view....450D fit the bill just nice...cost around 1400 i think, with 3" LCD with live-view, higher pixel count and DIGIC III....

Now is when to get it?? Jun's PC show(June 12th to 15th) or just go to my uncle place to get it @ 10% discount...

Any suggestions??

Meet up with old collegues

Meet up with Elsie and her kid, "min"...on Saturday, 5th Apr.

Been really long since we ever gone out to eat. remember the times when I was still in STM...use to go out....for movies and dinner every other month....

We use to eat at this very popular restaurant in Sembawang shopping center...where Elsie say the waiter there are "Hot"

Well...I must say they are young chaps working part-time....for Allowance I think...

But food is nice and cheap....that's why it attracting the crowds

but the place have since been torn-down...and they have open up another restaurant in Yishun instead

Well...both of them are too shy for photos....though

Well....it was the usual stuff....have not have this like almost a year....though it was not the best that I have eaten...but it the company that matters...


Didn't want to just eat "plain White rice" so we ordered Pineapple rice...not too bad..a little on the dry side though, but the pork floss make up for it.....but quantity bit on the huge side...so cannot finish all....(FYI...only me and min is eating...Elsie...eat whitey rice??)


Their main dish....thai Fried Fish with Thai sauce...fresh but bit on the bony..side...lots of bone...in the end...Elsie..finish up everything...haha....lot of omega-3 though


My favorite....though is it a little light on the taste...



Sambal Kangkong...(call Malay Feng Kuan)...not too hot...just nice for me...but for those of who like their kangkong hot...then this may not be the good one


A special order from out norm...corn-flakes prawn...so so....prefer the one at XO noodles @ Holland V though...

But really enjoy myself...good catching up...and funny..topic...about someone....some "three"...dancing..stuff....

Actually wanted to catch a show @ Causeway point, but there aren't any good show to watch......go for coffee at mac....and chit chat...

Make-up must be the most important thing all all young girl's mind lo...as i see "min" keep patching up her eye..make-up and also her finger-nails....polish and colour...

Elsie have a very nice perm...make her look really young...le...

Mt first 10Km Run

I just sign up for a marathon...and running 10Km this coming 8th Jun 08. It's Singapore Saucony 100plus Passion Run 2008

Hopefully, I am well prepare for this...challenge..never run such a long distance..before...

My highest record was on the treadmill in Gym for 7.4Km...sad right....and I took 45mins to complete this...

My recent run with my colleagues....which they say was about 10Km....I took more than 1hr and 15mins....very bad.....

Cost me about $24 to run this marathon.....this includes

1 concern will be the timing.....6.30am flag-off...meaning I will need to take a cab down.....probably to reach by 6am....hiaz....so early....
