Lina is going back!!

Use to be relatively close to them when I am still working there...back them...I would go into the "line" everyday to look at those Lots on hold by them due to defects.

It was those days where I kinda do a product transfer, and I was the one who taught them how to inspect those defects...

Gone were those days, as after I handed over....the person seldom interacte with them anymore....

The current crisis seems to have taken it toll on them as well...as they are now force to clear leave till they have almost nothing....Retrenchment is also in the plan....and from what I found out...they have decided for an early release so that they can return home....

As Lina is going home....Miss "E" organise this get-together session, which we usually have it like every-year since I left. This Time round, it at Sakura Internation Buffet @ YCK. crowded though consider it at quite a "wo lu" concern near NYP

They introduce their Nouya stuff....and I found their Durian really delicious...btw, I only took those nouya dessert. They also have those spicy ones as well.

And since it's a Buffet, It's time to grab as much as possible...and forget about calories...and they have lots of raw salmon.

These are the one paying for Lina & Gang....The "Engineer" who work with them during those days....3 of them are still working with them as well...("QA Director", and 2 NSX Expert)

The Gang who just finish all the food....everyone look satisfied....FYI, Lina and Gang almost single-handedly finish bowl of prawns (though they are not tiger prawns)

40% into my 30s....

I'm 40% into the journey. So What have I achieve this 40% of it...Let's see.

• I switch to a "better" job....depends on how you see it....I definitely happier here.
• Came back to the lord...@ the 20% journey...still experiencing his love and learning his way
• Got back my health...@ the 30% journey....The gym did help!!
• Conquer Taiwan, Korea, Bangkok, Rendang Cruise, Malaysia-Cameron/KL/Genting

Not amazing...though....the next 6 years...should be better I hope.....

Though this 40% is not without it bad points...

• Lost a good friend due to some misunderstanding....(right till today...we are still not talking)
• Lost quite a bit of money in my investment....$XX,XXX...u guess
• Overspend on my credit cards....I was shock when I see the bill.....
• I'm still SINGLE....
• I'm still getting bald....

A cake is all it takes to celebrate...this day....wasn't really keen though...but just a get-together session...

Well, She added lot of joys and attention to the family...Born Last Year (2008)..to the World....


The World must have look bit Strange to her at first....since she can't really hear or see properly at first....see how "scare" she was

Everyday is all about Milk...in her World....as she probably only feel hungry....and don really understand what is Sad or happy...

And Of course ....crying for Milk....cos it really uncomfortable :-)

After spending a month on Earth...We have a celebration for her....a Golden Pendant...as a symbol of growing up....

The First few months was really sleepy for her....must be a way of growing up...with no troubles to think of ....only her Milk ...But she soon become more active...aka Curious...when her sight got better everything is new....and she would look at it almost everyday..

She Started giving us...expressions...how cute...after about 4-5months..This is after having a nice bath....

Then dressing up and going out for shopping was something to look forward to...every weekend...as she would know my sister and Hubby are going out as she change into her shopping outfit...she is really SMART..!!

The Next Few months was nothing short of exciting....she laughes...when we play with her..

She Started doing the "kicking" and " Flying" signs...when we play with her...

She Start Crying when she feel sad...or when her toys are missing....(aka...someone refuse to give her...lol)

we Nicked named her 大头姑...cos initially she can't keep her head up....and keep resting it on the bed....(look like she got a heavy head)

It is already coming in to 8mths...this april.....her hair has grown longer....her smile "larger" and also her voice..as well...

Now she know how to smile when the camera is on her....

She have her first Papaya...doesn't seem to like it at first looking at her expression....but it good for her bowel..though....lol

She has her bad hair days as well..!!

She now spot a temper if her demand is not met....aka..."where is my toys"

How lovely is she would be walking now at this height.....Her first Stand-up pose....without much support...

U think she can enter the contest for baby of the year or Miss Baby...contest...

Been looking at a couple of REITs in the recent months. The Slowdown in the world Economy have create a GREAT opportunity in terms of buying in low....Stock Prices are at some of their lowest pricing now.

Increasing my Passive income is a priority now....For What I define this kind of income as...income that are generate without me doing anything....simple rule is just put your money and get the returns...i.e Dividends...

Gone are days where passive incomes come from banks...aka interest...nowadays, with Bank interest rate so low and...I would be losing money just by putting it there...or worst...gone forever...(lucky Gov Guarantee all saving till 2010)

Took Notice that REITs give good dividend Vs Price Ratio....the only bad thing about REITs is their huge Debts they have and the re-financing issue...

To be honest, I'm expecting the STI to fall when Singapore's 1st Qtr Result is announce..sometime next month. Thus, I am not too keen to go into the market to grab the Reits yet.I am Targeting a price of about $0.35, which is most likely a price I would try to queue it for...(Greedy right)...but it current prices look too good....and cheap...

Meet-up with a few friends which I have not seen for years...think the last time I saw them was sometime in 2004?

NYDC....was the place we met-up for dinner...."E" was slight late....so I was there searching for those folks ...took me a while...as I can hardly recognise them....the later photos will tell why...

Mr "ED" upgraded from Public Transport to Personal transport.....something I never really thought off.....(I can't drives...lol...+ no $$)...

Forgot to mention..the idea of this small gathering is just to share with us...Mr "B" is getting married...this 06/09.....

March is off to a Great Start....For the first time...I am Consider "Busy"..in terms of both work as well as social activities......to the extend I have to "postpone" some of them....sorry folks

Things to look forward

• Birthday..Good gracious...I was looking at my face....and I saw...."lots of lines"...growing older is just so part of life....
  

• - Celebrate with my Cell-mates....kinda a first...cos last year it wasn't as big..wo.....but really a good get-together....

• Sub-urban Run - 10k....looking forward...hopefully to clock my 10k in under 60mins....I will try....

• "NSX" Operator Gathering....(someone is leaving wo)..It's a sad thing that the current crisis is doing to our foreigner working in singapore...

• Meeting up with LC, Victoria...Well...kinda like a belated B-day meal....lol

• An unexpected meeting with BS and ED....someone is moving to his next stage in life wo.
• Meeting up with colleges from STM....(Aka QCs la)..They sound like they might be also leaving....lol

• Hopefully a gathering with D,E,R and gang at his places (D's)...look like another session of drinking ....lol, kinda like an annual event where we just chill-out....looking forward to it.
• Buffet outing with Chicken Queen ...quite surprise that this can happen...considering.. he is quite particular...to some stuff..wo......
  

Guess another good sign, that the Current crisis is still not affecting my place of work as now.

Work is starting to piling up and complicated.....also...hopefully no big surprises on the upcoming Tuesday Tel-con...... - Sad thing is I heard bad news that I am too quite in the Telcon....got to speak..up.... (Help Pray for me....)

How Can I live without Hollywood....Movies..

Well...those of u who know me...know that one of my favorite past-time is to catch a movie...I kinda aim to see one every week. Even during this deepen recession...:-p

I have already seen 9 movies so far (out of the 10 weeks). Some may say I have pretty low standard in choosing the movies I watch....For me...the most important criteria is I enjoy the time spend doing it (~ 90 to 180mins)

Another 2 more months down the road will be the hottest season of movies again...so what movies I am looking out for....In no Particular order though...


StarTrek
They kinda updated this show with younger looking cast and great effects....those of you into Chris Klein would love this show....kinda goes back into telling us where it all begins though...Have never really follow Startrek.....feel that it's bit slow...Let see how this one goes...

DragonBall Evolution
Look bit Cheezy, and Mr Chow is in this one...wonder how his English is this time round....never really follow the "anime" though....Count me as low standard...I'm kinda into this type of CG effect driven movies

Fast and Furious - 2009 Edition
The Original Cast is back...with cooler racing and effects...add in a hot looking ladies as well...lol

X-Men Origins: Wolverine
One of the most Famous Character in X-Men Series...high time he get a movie of his own...effect heavily and look pretty interesting on story as well....

Angels and Demons
Been reading the story book and should be in time to finish it...look to be interesting...story about how science is a tool God use to communicate with us?

Night at the Museum 2
Sequel to the funny and family oriented movie....after seeing the first one though, feel bit pity I did not go visit that museum when I was there....lol...from the Trailer ...this one look really good...

Terminator Salvation
I thought they end this franchise some year ago....but instead of a storyline that goes back in time to save the hero...now they gone to the future to settle it...Look Good as well...

Disney's Pixar "UP"
I Must say, though I like Dreamworks Animation, Pixar is still better in term of the witty story line and their ever interesting original concepts.

Transformer 2
It's back ...bigger and better with new robots and better CG...that what sequel is all about...I just hope the toys that come with this show look more authentic....those make in China stuff are so plastic,....

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
The Wizard boy is back this time round on his 3rd last outing....Last I head the final chapter will be film as a 2-parter movies...yet to finish reading this book...Let hope I am in time

Ice Age 3 - Dawn of the Dinosaurs
Still involve a squirel chasing a nut....still one of the better CG movies around....looking forward in 3D if it is available....

I remember when I was young...this toy and cartoon was like super popular...let see how the new adaptation goes....there quite alot buzz on this.....
