Little Baby is 1mth big

So fast...it been a month since my sis has given birth and their baby is now 1mth old...and is a tradition to celebrate...."Full moon" and get all your friends to share your joy...(my sis)

Good Food is a must....we have this "Bu-fet" (read it in chinese)

The lead is out...she has grown much cuter..

Today event is mainly for my sister's friend and collegues...even her boss came over...and I saw my neighbors' family for the first time.....ha

Nowadays...baby are always a blessing to people around and also blessed....look ....at a young age...she is already wearing jewelery ....

Granny Birthday -She is 79

Is a yearly event, where we celebrate granny birthday...(Heard if we forgot...she will be angry le)

Use to celebrate at some resturant in AMK when she stay at AMK some years ago......it move to the coffee-shop's "Zi-Cha" store at my place a few years ago

However, that shop went busted...so for the past 3 years, been celebrating at my Uncle's Condo - Rio Vista.

Mooncake Festival 2008

The Moon-cake Festival is all about the laterns and the delicious cake we get to eat during the month of Sep(After the "chinese Ghost Festival" usually)

Back then (When I was a kid.....wow that was like over 25+ years ago)..mum and dad would bring me and my sister to the playground where we would carry latern and "playing with fireworks"


Thought of doing something different this year...after working in the afternoon....headed down to Chinese Garden where they held the Latern Festival light show display every year. Never been on one of these...so going to see what install....there...


They have exhibits on Chinese Cultures....I think....


Quite surprise the photos turn-out quite bright...though....lots of people are posing in front of these ....quite a few foreigner as well

The Theme this year for the festival is Hello Kitty....Targeted at the Kids and Family

The Platform is so filled with people lining up to take photos....and most of them couples....(felt so left out)


After waited for all the couple to finish their shots....I catch mine...

It a pretty expensive place to be...since the entry to the park cost me $15 bucks...But overall..still an experience...but doubt I would want to come again....but if I do....hopefully is with my love.....(which I am stilll.....looking)

RSAF Day 2008

It's Free and there is a free Shuttle service....so Why not go see....


Not expecting a huge crowd there at the show, but there is quite a lot of family bring their kids along, plus a long queue to get into the cockpit of the planes...

They are also giving out tickets to go aboard the C130 for a ride...but not sure how to get those tickets...the army officers say need to win some games.....before can get the tickets....

It the 3rd such Event of the year and also the 2nd time I didn't get anything from here...Quite a record for me..as last year I got something from the show everytime....Memory Cards - 2G Memory Stick for PSP, Camera- IXUS 800IS, Photo Printer-HP Photosmart 475

This year is all about Hard-disk for me...Got a Free Agent from the 1st PC show back in Mar if u read..earlier...

Army Half Marathon -- My First 21Km....

Completed...the run..24-Aug...@ around 9am.....wow is this a tough run...never run this long....not even my Army days...But I Glad I completed...the run....21KM....


This the the Goodies...they give whenever u took part in any of these kind of runs...and this year Tee look better than last year ones...though I don have last year event tee..though...

This will be one unique Tee, First Run across the Marina Barrage...


It the first time we run across the Marina Barrage....but when i reach there, it's real muddy and was really too tired to admire the place....but did catch some runners posing...at the place...

And the most important of all for any run...is to get this achivement medal.......I collect my 2nd medal....of the year (1st - Passion Run - 10Km, 2nd - SBR - 21Km, 3rd - SCM - 42Km??)



And my lucky no this year is 7298 ....


And I was the no #815 runners to cross the finishing line.....but my timing was worst than my forecast....I reach my 10K mark @ 1hr.07min....way behind my 10K timing....

But still fun and good experience...looking forward to Standard Chartered Run 2008 at the end of this year...where I will try my first 42km....(serious).....
