Actually saw an early version of it at the Singapore Indoor Stadium I think....and was quite impressed at that time by the show. It brings a strong message of father, daughter love and at the same time not intimated non-believers.
Now, in 2008, this show is being stage at Singapore's most famous icon...and the production cost and effort put into the show is sure to be of world class...I heard almost 70 to 80% of the tickets were sold since...
There is already a crowd lining up and gather at the entrace...consider this is a matinee show....which usually don attract as much crowd as the 8pm show usually.
There is a big..commotion ...courtesy by the primary school kids...who were making alot of noise..while entering the theatre late... (something I never encounter when watching the Musical "We will Rock you" early this year.
It kinda distracted...the performance...and I can't help wondering if paster hear it...but still they manage to settle down...and I manage to secretly snap a few photos...(though they are not very clear)
The show was great...though I must say...having seen the earlier version seem to have reduces the element of surprise to expect from the show....but still...the production value is very high...and we shouldn't be comparing to the likes of broadway.
Give it time and experience....who know what God have plan for all of us...
