Thai Food & Some Bak Gu Tek with LC

Kinda Celebrate my "belated" birthday with LC and Victoria...aka LC's Daughter...Was planning to see a show then head off for Dinner....but was really hungry so ...we went pass this "BaK Gu Teh" store at the Foodcourt @ Suntec City and Decided to give it a try...lol

Order that "famous" Dish ...Bak Gu Teh....Literally Translated to Meat-Bone-Tea...This dish is famous both in Singapore as well as Penang where they are famous for their peppery soup base. The one here does not taste as pepperish....personally don really think is nice....would prefer the ones @ the AMK Hawker Center any day....(You get the result right!!)

Beside "Bak Gu Teh", we also order the ever "sinful", Pig Leg as well...nothing really great about this dish as it is all Fats...lol

Add in a plate of Oyster sauce KaiLan....and that completed our lunch....

The Verdict....Don waste your $$ trying out this Store....You Can get way better or about the same stuff for cheaper...

Not To forget...it was IT Show day that day as well, and LC's want to buy something....from the show....(Memory cards)....They even have to control the crowd getting to the show..buy stopping people from getting onto the escalator....IS THERE REALLY A RECESSION HERE IN SINGAPORE?? I serious doubt so....especially when it come to PC/Consumer Electronics products and when huge discount are given...lol

Thai Food was next during Dinner....suddenly have a craving for it....though I don usually take spicy stuff!!....We order a Set Dinner for 2 with an additional rice though....Include the Spicy hot Tom Yam Soup....This one I drink only a little....

Green Curry...I like this one alot though it is also extremely hot...

Lucky there is still something that is not Hot...Prawn ball....

Sambal Kangkong...though spicy is also a dish I like...but this is pretty common in singapore...can be found anyway in coffeeshop "Zi Cha" stores

This is something unique...did not taste this when I was in Bangkok last time....very appertising bit spicy but still ok.

Like to Thank LC and Victoria for this Enjoyable treat though I went through it full of sweat after that...FYI...This Thai' Resturant is @ Marina Square...Balti Thai...!!
