The Annual Dept Buffet - SAKURA - To Start off 2012

Having buffet @ Sakura YCK has become part of my Staple of working in Seagate for the past 4 years. There was never a time we failed to come to this  place. Friend wonder how come my dept keep having Buffets after buffets. That the best thing about working for this company...lol
With Car-pooling plans for Lunch. Once we entered the place (We are probably the first to arrive) The folk start Feasting.
The health-Concious will start looking for the Healthy Options

While the ones with the highest capacity race against time to finish up as much food they can

As for me, ever since I reach my current weight since I started running some 4 years ago, I was never a fan of Buffet anymore, Having not been through 2 rounds of Food for Buffets. Bring me to the Buffet is basically a waste of money and time.

But I still sample some of the "delicasee" that I would never try on a normal working day (Health-Conscious). Laksa!!! though Sakura's Version wasn't as good as It looks

Their "popiah" with the Crispy "Covering" is not too bad.

Special Order from the BBQ Corner, U take a Number Clip from your table and go to the BBQ Counter and clip it on the Raw items(Meat) and they will deliver to you when it is done. BBQ Pork. Nothing Fantastic

The buffet does provide a platform for us to mingle among ourself beside talking about work. Lot of funny moments and jokes can come out of this session as it never fail to appear in the past.
We must definitely thanks the organiser of this annual Dept Lunch. Without him, we will probably not have such "Teambuilding" events.

Though the prices for SAKURA is nothing short of Cheap or even good. The only good thing they have it here is the variety and the Durian Puree. They use to have the nouya stuff when the Mediacorp drama, "little Nouya" is hot back then, but now only their Durian Puree is a regular Staple.

But The company of colleagues make the difference. Looking forward to a fruitful year ahead. January thus far have been a really busy month, a really exciting start to the year - 2012
