This one was way better than the one we had @ red Star Restaurant. Though the variety is lesser.
We order immediately we reach....was bit hungry as I skip breakfast just for this...
We have "ming Har Ko"...aka...friend prawn dumplings..this was great
Another Specialties, bit on the salty side...kinda like "wu Xiang"
Fried Banana...goreng pisang..something very local...hardly if not never see during Chinese 点心 session
Egg Tarts....but this one is not as good as Red Star though
Lotus Leave Glutinous rice...so so only....too bland
The usual....Steam prawn dumplings....and
Siew Mai......
Not to forget..to call one of my favourite dish....Century Egg Porridge....but this one still pales in comparison with the one serve by Crystal Jade
This one was quite hot....not very nice....FYI....this is "Chicken feet"
"zhu Chang Fen".....ok ok...
Some kind of dumpling but soak in chilli sauce....sour and hot...
Like this one alot...it "you Tiao" with "zhu Chang Fen" coating....nice
The most expensive dish...Abalone...wrap bun...but this does not live up to it cost...though

Let's hope there is more of such gathering especially to try out even better 点心 or maybe a buffet...next one coming up should be Dad's Birthday.....Let start thinking of where to eat...any Suggesting?
