Dad's Baptism

One of the Happiest Day. When Dad Decided to be Baptism, It is really funny that at the end of the Day, Mum and Dad actually Baptise earlier than me since I was the first in the family to Accept Christ.  Anyway, the chosen date - Easter Weekend. The Weekend when Jesus was Crucify and on Sunday, He will rise to be in Heaven.

It was my First time Attending a Catholic Church Easter Service and Baptism Ceremony.

The Ceremony was very long. We reached the Church at about 9pm so as to grab a seat but there was another service going on. We are ask to assemble in the Field for the Good Friday Service.

All of us were given a Candle before we entered into the Church to our Seat where we have "Reserved"

While Waiting for our Turn to go into the Church, We grab some free time to have a photo with Dad, before He line up for his turn to go into the church.

Must be an exciting time for him now.....but it is going to be a long night.

After waiting for over 2 hrs, It is finally Dad's Turn to be Baptise. We gone though some worship songs and short Sermon before those who are to be Baptise lined up for their Turn. It was quite a huge number of People to be Baptise.

After the Priest Baptise my Dad, My Dad have to put on this White Robe and to go up to the Altar to be Blessed by the Priest. This is something very different from my Church.


It is almost Pass Xuan's Bedtime...Look at her...Sleepy Look.

It was a rather tiring Day. It is almost Midnight before the whole process ended.

Time for the whole gang to take photo to remember this important day, they committed themselves to the Lord.
