Easter Cell Event

Easter Friday is our usual Cell Event where we invite our friends and Family member to come together, One thing is to get to know why we Christian celebrate this important Day, Another thing is to let our friend know our lord, Jesus Christ Die on this very day and 3 days later, on Easter Sunday, He will be raised and be with God.

It was also the first time ever, since settle with the Cell, that I am being assigned a Task. That is to ferry My Lou and Mr Yap from the homes in Ang Mo Kio, to Weehiang's Place in Punggol. 

I manage, together with my sis, to convince my mum to come over for a gathering as well. My sis and Lawerence was also tasked to get Chicken Rice from Wee Nan Kee @ Serangoon Garden for the cell Event.

I kinda mis-read the sms messages and ended up being almost half an hour earlier to meet up with Baoqiang to go fetch Mr Yap. Mr Yap was a really chatty person. Though he have some of the typical trade of his era.....I shall not disclosed much here. Mr Lou is old folk we visited quite "regularly" in a sense during some of our cell event. That is how we got to know him as well through Charlotte. He was already waiting at the void deck. The Driver and myself, together with Waty help to get Mr Lou's wheelchair on board the mini-Van taxi which we hired for the trip to Punggol. We Reached Weehiang place on time and get a little rest time before the gang arrived with their guest.

Was treated to a wonderfully done, ice-breaker session by Charles and Melina. They are really good at it though they din rehearsal much. Can see they can read each other body language and react accordingly. The crowded was really entertained. Furthermore, they can speak a little in other dialects, and it sure helps.

We watch the DVD by Su Shiming, A former Drug addict and how he come to know the Lord and become a believer and how he help other when he accepted Christ. It is really a wonderful testimony from God that He can transform us if we allow him to take control of our life and our jobs is to be obedient.

The event ended with everyone very full. Chingwah did some cooking together with the dessert and chicken rice that the cell member contributed. It was really satisfy. A group photo to remember this wonderful day where we blessed the elderly and of course be a blessing to others especially the elderly among us.

It was also the month where baoqiang's Birthday fall on. Have a surprise for him. Wishes him many more blessing and healthy, most important of all, blessed relationship with God and his success in his pursue of his Financial studies.
